Excellent, sharp pinkish-tan Baveno twin of Orthoclase, measuring 63 x 39 x 38 mm, is accented by white blades of Albite (v. Cleavlandite) and minor Muscovite. The Takayama area was well known for these twins. From the Earl Calvert (1904-1964) collection, this specimen is pristine. (Author: GneissWare)
